We are a non-profit 501c(3) animal rescue organization located in Caldwell County, North Carolina. Our mission is to find homes for unwanted, abandoned and homeless animals in our area. Our long-term goal is to bring a Life-Saving Animal Shelter to Caldwell County.
About PPN:
- We were established in September 2008
- We rescue and re-home healthy, adoptable animals
- We host Adopt-A-Pet Events most Saturdays at Tractor Supply in Lenoir (Hwy. 321)
What is the Problem?
Animal overpopulation is a huge problem in our community. There simply are not enough homes for all the animals born in our county each year.
What is the Solution?
The solution is complex and education is key. We share with community members the importance of spaying or neutering their animal(s) to end animal over-population. Another part of the solution is to bring a Life-Saving Animal Shelter to Caldwell County.
To Make a Difference for Animals, Our Organization:
- Hosts Saturday Adopt-A-Pet Events at Tractor Supply in Lenoir (Hwy. 321 near Belk)
- Provides Low-cost spay/neuter & rabies vaccines
- Raises funds and awareness for a future Life-Saving Animal Shelter in Caldwell County, NC
- Lists available, adoptable animals through this site

If you are in Scouts, BETA club or another group that provides volunteers or service projects, please contact PPN. We are happy to provide the hours you need while moving toward our end goal.
